Memory Verse: Deuteronomy 3:22

Many of us are going through challenging circumstances of everyday and feeling abandoned or left out by God, remember you’re not alone, God is with us, He wants us to cast our burdens upon Him. Throughout the Bible, God commands us to fear not, to be of good cheer, and to have courage in our life. Sometimes we doubt our own strength and conviction but can turn to Bible scripture for the encouragement to live in good cheer and trust in God. With God’s protection and guidance, we should be able to conquer our fears and live a life full of determination. It is God that commands us to have courage, for that means having faith and confidence in Him.

In Deuteronomy 1:7, the Lord God said to the Israelites to “Break camp and advance into the hill country of the Amorites.” To break is to cause something to separate suddenly or destroy. “Camp” represents anything that has kept you stagnated. To “break Camp” means anything that has kept one stagnated, and without progress. Our last success may be the camp we’ve built for ourselves and we stopped moving forward. And the word “advance” to move forward and make progress. God called the Israelites to move from the base of the mountain to the hill country to possess the land, which He Had given to them as an inheritance. To move forward or means to make progress in every area of our endeavours. Stagnation is not the Will of God for any of His children. We all know that life is an uncertain roller coaster. We can choose to embrace it and enjoy the ride, learning from our experiences along the way; or we can choose to rebel against the challenges of life, resenting every moment of our journey. Challenges in life are a given, and they can be used to our advantage. Each challenge is an opportunity for our personal growth and self-improvement.

God’s promises are usually wrapped up in battles we must fight, and we need not be afraid because the Lord will make the battles bread for us. Many of us, when in the valley, and God says we have been here long enough, it means it’s time to move on. In life, unfortunately, some people experience valley differently, and they feel that it’s the end of their life, and have the tendency accepting a temporal situation as a permanent. It is very important to know that God is with us in the battles. Moving forward is an act of faith. Thus, what is keeping us from moving forward and stop camping out in yesteryear? As the year is coming to a close, God wants us to move on to the next level with Him. God is calling us to break camp and advance to the next level of our life. We must never be afraid of our present situation, as it is subject to better change. It’s time to relocate from the place of failure to the place of success. Ecclesiastes 7:8 says “Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof.” Let us quit singing the same old same old songs. No more camping out in yesteryear, move forward into the next level that God has prepared for us, and we must have a continual walk with God, to fulfill our divine purpose in life. Remember, that the best of God can never be behind us, but ahead of us. For those yet to surrender their lives to Jesus, do so now, tomorrow might be too late. DO IT NOW! STAY HEALTHY! STAY SAFE! STAY STRONG! STAY FOCUSED! STAY FIRM! STAY IN FAITH! STAY POSITIVE! STAY CONNECTED; STAY BLESSED!
