Memory Verse: Psalm 34:18

Life is full with uncertainty and it is filled with all kinds of challenges, trials and tribulations, but we can always take comfort in knowing that God is with us through all of life’s ups and downs. Still, when we’re in the thick of a tough situation, it can be hard to remember that the Lord is by our side in all things. The Word of God can help calm our minds, the right word at the right time can help us when we need comfort in our suffering, and help us focus on the light at the end of the tunnel. Also, the Bible can comfort us in many ways: Give us hope for the future; Comfort us in our sorrow; Help us to forgive others; Give us the strength to face challenges. The right word at the right time can help us when we need comfort in our suffering. In our challenges, trial, suffering, and pain, God promise to comfortย  us and will preserve our lives as it is written in Psalm 119:50. Comfort is the relief in affliction, freedom from pain and anxiety; and a state of ease and satisfaction.

God sets on high those who are lowly, and those who mourn are lifted to safety as it is written in Job 5:11. God’s steadfast love, comfort us according to His promise to us (Psalm 119:76). Those that mourn shall be blessed and comforted (Matthew 5:4) and His Word shall be a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). Sometimes God allow us to go through pain in order to strength us, increase our faith in Him, and to show us His glory, for example the story of Job as it is written in Job 1:12, and Joseph in Genesis 50:20 to mention just a few. Even when things seems to get worse before they get better, we must never forget that God’s mercies are new every morning according to Lamentations 3:21-23. God wants us to come Him, all who are thirsty, (Isaiah 55:1). Through the help of the Holy Spirit, when we go to God in prayer, with petition and thanksgiving, (Philippians 4:6), He will not close His ears to our cry for relief (Lamentations 3:56), but rather, He will come near and answer our prayer petition and requests.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion, Who is the Source of every comfort, He comforts us in every trouble, so that we can also be able to comfort and encourage those who are in any kind of trouble or distress, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted. In 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, says “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.” Let us strive and wait on the Lord and be of good courage, and He shall strengthen our heart (Psalm 27:4). God does not give up on us. God will move us from darkness to light (John 9:7). Stay connected to God, the Comfoter Who Comforts us on all side. For those yet to surrender their lives to Jesus, do so now, tomorrow might be too late. DO IT NOW! STAY SAFE! STAY HEALTHY! STAY POSITIVE! STAY FOCUSED! STAY FIRM! STAY CONNECTED! STAY IN FAITH! STAY BLESSED!
