KNOWING GOD, AND HIS POWER

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” as it is written in John 1:1. The Bible is the Word of God. God created Himself and named Himself; “I AM who I AM” (Exodus 3:14). Our Creator, is Omnipotent, All powerful God (Jeremiah 32:17); He is Omnipresent Psalm 139:7-12); and He is Omniscient (Psalm 139:1-6). To know God Almighty is to establish a personal relationship with God, through Jesus Christ. To better know God is the entire purpose of Scripture, and Knowing God can be a feeling as much as an understanding. Throughout the Scriptures from the Old to the New Testament, God demonstrated His power, time and time again, and He is still demonstrating His power in our lives all over the world. “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen” (2 Peter 3:18). There is nothing too difficult for the Lord to do. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth as it is written in Genesis 1:1. He formed light and created darkness (Isaiah 45:7).

In 2 Timothy 3:16 says that “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” Hebrews 4:12, “For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” Our God demonstrated His power in all His creation and His power transformed nations, and lives of people in the Bible. All power belongs to God. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego knew God and His power, hence they were not afraid to replied King Nebuchadnezzar, saying they do not need to defend themselves, that the God they serve is able to deliver them from the king’s hand (Daniel 3:16-17). To the bewilderment of the king, the fourth man appeared in the blazing furnace; that’s the power of God. The king was surprised to see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and unharmed, and he said the fourth looks like a son of the gods. Rather for the people to bow and worship the image god, king Nebuchadnezzar made a decree and commanded the people to worship the God Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego as it is written in Daniel 3:22-28.

The greatest demonstration of His power was the resurrection from the dead (John 10:17-18). Apostle Paul prayed that he might know the resurrection power as it is written in Philippians 3:10. The resurrection power of God forgives us our sins and deliver our soul from hell. His power breaks and deliver us from every chains, yokes, curses, bondages, and  bewitchments. He is able to forgive sins according to Matthew 9:6, able to judge because He can save and destroy (James 4:13). We need to fear, honor, and serve God. When we are obedient to His commandment and having a relationship with Him, then we will be able to Know His power that makes anything dead in our lives be it spiritual, physical, material, finances, businesses, careers, and marriages to come alive. God’s power is a gradual process and we keep progressing in knowledge and learning of His power every day, forever. Jesus and the power of His resurrection is the Power of God that gives us divine wisdom and insight into God’s Will for our lives, and with God, all things are possible, and all things work together for our good (Romans 8:28). Hence, let us fix our eyes on Jesus and His faith, and the resurrection power. For those yet to surrender their lives to Jesus, this is not negotiable, do so now, tomorrow might be too late. DO IT NOW! STAY HEALTHY! STAY SAFE! STAY FOCUSED! STAY ALERT! STAY STRONG! STAY FIRM! STAY  CONNECTED! STAY IN FAITH! STAY BLESSED!

PRAYER

🙏Let the desire to know God more be my priority in life, in Jesus’ name.
🙏Lord Jesus, draw me close to You and never let me go, in Jesus’ name.
🙏 O God, arise and let my life experience Your Resurrection power, in the name of Jesus.
🙏Oh Lord, incubate my life with Your Resurrection power, in the name of Jesus.
🙏The power that visited Pharaoh, visit all the enemies of the nations of the world, in the name of Jesus.
🙏The power that visited Pharaoh, visit all the enemies in all nations of the world, in the name of Jesus.
🙏I cover and seal all my prayers with the Covenant Blood of Jesus Christ.
🙏Thank You Lord, for answered prayers
