DON’T GIVE UP! YOU SHALL LAUGH LAST!

📖: Genesis 21:1-7

Confession: Psalm 91

Laughter is a physical reaction. It is a response to certain external or internal stimuli.

God is the initiator of laughter. Laughing is an amazing gift from God, it helps heal wounds that are caused by situations and circumstances of life. Laughter is also, seen as a weapon of victory. It’s a divine remedy.

God knows and sees us as we are not as men sees us, (1 Samuel 16:7); He knows what we want and need. He is God of time and season; He is faithful and compassionate. He keeps His promise, and at the appropriate time, He will fulfill His plan and purpose that which is spoken concerning us, in the name of Jesus. Waiting for God’s promise to manifest, helps us to develop patience, trust, and faith. Without faith, it is impossible to serve God, nor develop patience and trust for His Word concerning us. Abraham and Sarah had faith, patience and trusted God for that which He had promised. God reveals His power. When God gives His Word, He never fail, but will accomplish what He desire and achieve the purpose for which God sent it concerning our lives (Isaiah 55:11).

God’s timing may not be our timing, but His timing is NEVER LATE. He never give up on us. When we are faced with situations beyond our control, our initial reaction is to seek joy and laughter in people God created; rather than seek God instantly. We must seek joy and laughter from God, the Alpha and Omega, Who knows all things and can do all things. God will never give up on us, He will fulfill His promise because we are in God’s plan. No matter the situations that has made us unhappy, sad, afraid, bring tears to our eyes; let us remember that there is light at the end of the tunnel and we will laugh last. The power of laughter heals all wounds and makes us forget our pass sufferings, worries, and failures when God intervene in our situation.

George R. R. Martin said “Laughter is poison to fear”.

Starting from today, we will discover the divine encounter that will bring laughter into our lives. We will have the last laugh because the STORM IS OVER in Jesus’ mighty name. Therefore, rejoice in the Lord always (Philippians 4:4). God who worked in the lives of Abraham and Sarah is more than able to work in our lives. He will wash and cleanse us of all our sins; supply all our needs; for His divine power has given us everything we need to fulfill our divine destiny in life (2 Peter 1:3). Let us strive and stay connected to God through Jesus Christ. For those yet to surrender their lives to Jesus, this is not negotiable, do so now, tomorrow might be too late. DO IT NOW!
