📖: Ecclesiastes 3:1-16
Confession: Psalm 91
As human beings, one of the hardest things for us to do is having to wait on God’s time. We forget that our timing is not God’s timing. God is Sovereign. All our days have been ordained by God as written in Psalm 139:16 which says “Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be”. “The Lord set a time and said, “Tomorrow the Lord will do this in the land” (Exodus 9:5).
“I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that people will fear him” (Ecclesiastes 3:14).
Ecclesiastes 8:6 says “For there is a proper time and procedure for every matter, though a person may be weighed down by misery”. We understand that “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens” (Ecclesiastes 3:1). When the appointed time is approaching for the manifestation of God’s promises for our lives, which is assured (Acts 7:17), He will make everything to work together for our good (Romans 8:28). God’s appointed time does not fail, it’s always on time, and even if it lingers in our own eyes, we must wait because it will certainly come and will not delay (Habakkuk 2:3). Jesus Christ, our Saviour waited for God’s timing as written in John 7:6 When He said “My time has not come”.
Every good gifts comes from God. It is only God that can open or close doors. When God makes promises concerning our lives, it shall come to pass like the promises He made to Abraham and He will make us to laugh at the end like Sarah. When we wait on God, we will be honored (Proverbs 27:18). Therefore, when we’re faced with any challenges, let us stand firm in faith and not doubt, keep reminding God through prayers and thanksgiving for what His about to do in our lives.
May God advance us in every areas of our lives. We won’t be delayed, denied, disgraced, nor be disappointed, in Jesus’ name. God will grant us our heart desires and expectations for our lives will not be cut short, in Jesus’ name. May the Lord bless us from Zion and His face shine upon us, in Jesus’ name. For those yet to surrender their lives to Jesus, this is not negotiable, do so now, tomorrow might be too late! DO IT NOW!
PRAY THIS; in the name of Jesus, I repent of my sins, come into my heart and I will make You my Lord and Saviour. Stay connected! Stay focused! Have a blessed weekend. Shalom!!!
