📖: Luke 18:9-14

Confession: Psalm 91

The world sometimes makes us have a feeling of being kicked to the curb which makes us feel unworthy and not valuable. In God’s eyes, we are valuable and must be aware of our worth. God’s thoughts towards us are for good and to give us a better future and that is why Jesus said in Luke 18:14, “I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted”.

The Bible tells us that God created us and we are fearfully and wonderfully made, and because we are precious in His eyes, He loves us while we were still sinners. He even knows the number of hairs on our heads. His ways and thoughts are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:9) and He wants us to be kind and forgiving to one another as Christ forgave us (Ephesians 4:32).

God loves and considers us His children, for we are His workmanship, (Ephesians 2:10) and a new creation, in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:17). Jesus paid the price through His death on the cross to make us worthy, which makes  His grace sufficient for us, and His power made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We must not base our worth on the world’s values, neither should we allow it affect us. No one is permitted to make us feel unworthy, unless we permit them. Therefore, we must not feel insecure or unworthy, but encourage ourselves with the Word of God, and improve on our self-esteem for we are Christ’s ambassador to give love to the world. For those yet to surrender their lives to Jesus, this is not negotiable, do so now, tomorrow might be too late. DO IT NOW! Have a relationship with God.

PRAY THIS; in the name of Jesus, I repent of my sins, come into my heart and I will make You my Lord and Saviour. Stay connected! Stay focused! Stay blessed! Shalom!!!
