📖: Psalm 46:1-11

Confession: Psalm 91

We live in a world of uncertainty and our major concern is about the security of our lives and properties. We all are seeking for security be it physical, spiritual or both. Spiritual security comes from God only. It is above all other securities and it is unlimited. The spiritual security is our main focus in today’s message and we can only get it through the salvation of Jesus Christ. Psalm 46:1 says “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble” and The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing (Psalm 23:1).

God is our Provider and Protector. We can never understand or fathom God’s way of protection over our lives. He protects us from self destruction, trials and tribulations. Psalm 91:9-10 says the Lord is our refuge, and the Most High our dwelling, no harm will overtake us, neither will any disaster come near our dwelling. He goes every where with us regardless of the time of the day.

In the spiritual realms evil powers that are contending with our spiritual securities are powers that creates invisible hole in the wall and commit wicked abominations as it is written in Ezekiel 8:7-11. We cannot fight them ourselves but we have a God that is above all of them – the Most High God. He will always ensure our security, He will never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). God can use any kind of weapons to destroy the evil powers. Therefore, seeking alternative security is useless and hopeless (Psalm 20:7). It cannot secure our physical safety, neither can it secure our eternal security.

King David is considered a man after God’s own heart (Acts 13:22). He enjoyed the divine security of God because he ensured he did not deviate from God, neither did he seek other  gods. He dwelled in “the secret place” and God protected him physically, spiritually and  received blessings from God. We can also dwell in the secret place of the Most High, abide under His shadow, and  benefit from His unlimited security (Psalm 91:1), if we seek Him. John 10:28-30 sums it all up making us to understand that security leads to safety, safety then leads to salvation. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. For those yet to surrender their lives to Jesus, this is not negotiable, do so now, tomorrow might be too late. DO IT NOW! Have a relationship with God.

PRAY THIS; in the name of Jesus, I repent of my sins, come into my heart and I will make You my Lord and Saviour. Stay connected! Stay focused! Stay blessed! Shalom!!!

🙏 O Lord, my life is in Your hand, cover me with Your feathers, in the name of Jesus.

🙏 Any power assigned to destroy my relationship with God, die, in the name of Jesus.

🙏 O Lord, empower my prayer altar, in the name of Jesus.

🙏 O Lord, make my life into a flaming fire, that is untouchable, in the name of Jesus.

🙏 Thank You Lord, for answered prayers.
