📖: 1 John 5:11-15

Confession: Psalm 91

God knows us by our names and loves us. He delights in hearing our voice and assures us through His Word that His grace is sufficient for us. God’s plan for us is of peace and not of evil (Jeremiah 29:11). Therefore, when we go to God in prayer, He hears and will answer us at the right time, knowing what we need and when we need it. He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble and cares for those who trust Him (Nahum 1:7).

As Christians, John 15:7 says “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you”. Our greatest blessing is knowing Jesus Christ and that through Him we have access to God, our Father. “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective” (James 5:16). Praying according to God’s Will, rest on our faith as it is written in Hebrews 11:1 and our prayers will  be answered.

Our faith is strengthened through our relationship with God, and as it is written in 1 John 5:14-15 which says “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. [15] And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him”. Faith fortifies our hope in things not seen. Sometimes when waiting for an answer from God, it may seem that God is silent, that’s when we need to cry to him through the Holy Spirit, praying and meditating  on His Word.

In our period of waiting, let us have faith  that things will be alright and glorify God with praise, and worship, and thanksgiving in our hearts. We can be rest assured that even if we walk through the darkest valley, we will fear no evil, (Psalm 23:4), because of the inner peace that strengthens our confidence that God never fail, in answering prayers. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus. For those yet to surrender their lives to Jesus, this is not negotiable, do so now, tomorrow might be too late. DO IT NOW! Have a relationship with God.

PRAY THIS; in the name of Jesus, I repent of my sins, come into my heart and I will make You my Lord and Saviour. Stay connected! Stay focused! Have a blessed day. Shalom!!!

🙏 As I open my mouth everyday, O God, arise and let the word of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Thy sight, in Jesus’ mighty name.

🙏 Thank You Lord, for answered prayers.
