📖: Hebrews 1:1-3
Confession: Psalm 91
God is a Spirit, and He is invisible. God is Omnipresent, (He is everywhere). God is Omnipotent (All powerful), God is eternal. Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Son is the Second person of the Trinity. He is not just like God, but He is God, who came to earth and was manifest in the human flesh as Jesus and lived amongst us and does the work of God. He died for our sins and is sitted at the right Hand of the Father. The Father and the Son are both God.
Hebrews 1:3 says “The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven”.
Christ is the radiance of God’s glory. The glory of God signifies the divine perfections of God. The Son of God, who is our Mediator is Christ and He is the radiance and brightness of the divine glory and image of God and this glory is best described in Isaiah 6:1-4. The bright light is attributed to the shining of Moses’ face (2 Corinthians 3:7), and it was also the light Paul saw on his way to Damascus (Acts 22:11).
According to the book of Psalm 84:11 says “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless. As children of God, for Christ to bestow His favour and honour upon us and give us good things we must be born again Christians. For us to be born again, Acts 3:19 says “Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord” and 1 John 5:4 says “for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith”. As Christians, the Holy Spirit will dwell in our body which is temple of God and will continually mold our character to enable us have Christ-like attributes.
A person that has character has faith and it will enable us to connect to the divide wisdom of God. We must pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17) in order for the Holy Spirit to give us guidance and strength to overcome any challenges that we might face. No matter who we are, or what we are going through, always know that Jesus Christ is Lord. Having a relationship with Christ, will develop and grow our faith in Him the more. His presence will be with us to the extent that whatever the challenge, we will overcome. Let us strive to develop the attributes of Christ and the radiance of God’s glory will manifest upon us. For those yet to surrender their lives to Jesus, this is not negotiable, do so now, tomorrow might be too late. DO IT NOW! Have a relationship with God.
PRAY THIS; in the name of Jesus, I repent of my sins, come into my heart and I will make You my Lord and Saviour. Stay connected! Stay focused! Have a blessed day. Shalom!!!
