📖: Psalm 42:1-11

Confession: Psalm 18

As believers, our greatest hope is that of eternal life and our hope can only manifest through our faith in Jesus Christ and the relationship we have with Him. By nature, we worry a lot be it family, career, business, economy, finances, trials, health, especially during this time of uncertainty. Our hope and encouragement for deliverance or freedom from anything or anyone must be built on nothing less but on the foundation of Jesus Christ, the Redeemer of the world, who laid His life for us (1 Corinthians 3:11).

The scriptures in the New Testament make us to understand how Jesus Christ came to seek and save us (Luke 19:10). He was born, grew up and lived amongst us, so He understands what we go through in life. Therefore, no matter the situation or circumstances we may find ourselves, we must rejoice, be patient confindent, and put our hope in God (Psalm 42:5).

Romans 8:24-25 says “For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? [25] But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. Through Jesus, we have obtained access by faith to the presence of God and our hope must be built on Jesus’ blood and righteousness and the Lord will direct His love upon us. We must not have any fear of what the day will bring because Jesus will provide and we will be able to do all things through His strength that strengthens us (Philippians 4:13).

As believers, our hope must lean on Jesus to be fortified. God takes delight in them that fear him (Psalm 147:11) therefore, in the midst of our trials; we must not worry about anything but must have faith and be patient. Our hope must be rooted in  our faith in Jesus. When we set our faith on Jesus, we are rest assured that our  hopes will be met. God will answer our prayers through Jesus Christ and give us unprecedented victory.

The gospel and the teaching of Christ teaches us to live our ives for eternal life. For those yet to surrender their lives to Jesus, this is not negotiable, do so now, tomorrow might be too late. DO IT NOW!

PRAY THIS; in the name of Jesus, I repent of my sins, come into my heart and I will make You my Lord and Saviour. Stay connected! Stay focused! Have blessed day Shalom!!!
