📖: 1 Samuel 30:1-22

“And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all” (1 Samuel 30:8).

Along the way, the journey of life can sometimes be tough. No matter what we face, we must not allow the spirit of fear or doubt into our heart. Instead of being fearful, we must approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need” (Hebrews 4:16). We must have faith in God because He knows what’s  best for us. He wants us His to prosper in every aspect of our lives. With God all things are possible (Mark 10:27).

Psalm 34:10 says this about the promises of God; “Those who seek the Lord lack no good thing”.  When we enquire from God concerning any situation, we must be precise in our enquiry prayer as David did in his questions. David asked two enquiry questions; if he should PURSUE the troop and if he would OVERTAKE them. God answered David with three favours from the two inquiry questions that he asked. God wants to answer our prayers God responded to his request by saying that David should PURSUE, OVERTAKE and RECOVER all.

Beloved, ask and it be shall be given, seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you (Matthew 7:7). Asking precise questions to any situation will benefit us in achieving victory. God will give us more than we could ever ask or imagine; God will answer us beyond our prayers and requests. Psalm 123:2 says “As the eyes of slaves look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a female slave look to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God, till he shows us his mercy”. Whatever our needs are, we must  approach God and He will intervene in our situation.

As Christians, “His divine power has given to us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness” (2 Peter 1:3). Those yet to surrender their lives to Jesus, do so now, tomorrow might be too late. DO IT NOW and stay connected to Jesus Christ. He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us” (Ephesians 4:20). Stay connected! Stay focused! Go and Prosper! Have a blessed day. Shalom!!!
