📖: Psalm 68:1-6
Confession: Psalm 91
“Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him” (Psalm 68:1).
The Bible says in Hosea 4:6 that “my people perish for lack of knowledge”. The Bible is clear of the existence of physical and spiritual battles and it started first in Heaven when the Kingdom of Heaven suffered violence and the violent took it by force (Matthew 11:12). The major entities that we struggle with are against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). We are faced with different kinds of battles and must not be ignorant, nor discouraged by them. Battles are inevitable; we must draw the battle lines, face battles, fight them for our promotion and victory to manifest.
We are faced with spiritual warfare and the battle is against the devil. The devil is real and is our enemy. They are powers from the kingdom of darkness and their ultimate goal is to destroy, devour, manipulate destinies of Christians. They have vowed to destroy lives and will do whatever it takes to make us feel discouraged and even doubt our faith. God sometimes allows the devil access into our lives and allow their activities to manifest as it is written in the book of Job 1:12.
When faced with any battle, we must surrender the battle to God. “Now will I arise, “says the Lord. “Now will I be exalted; now will I be lifted up” (Isaiah 33:10). God will then give us His strength, protection, and we will be bold and courageous (Joshua 1:6) to face any battles, trials, tribulations, and circumstances life throws at us. Isaiah 54:15-17 says “Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake”. When the Lord fights for us no one will be able to stand against us (Joshua 1:5) for God is the one who fights the battles for us and gives us victory (Isaiah 42:13).
We must know, when, what, and how to pray regarding any battle, trials, tribulations, and circumstances confronting us. Philippians 4:6 says “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God”. God will help preserve us and give us victory (Isaiah 49:8). God will never forget His own children. He knows us by our names and have graven us upon the palm of His hands. Finally, we must be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. We must put on the armor of God, so that we can take our stand against the devil’s schemes for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:10-12).
In Isaiah 63:4 says “It was for me the day of vengeance; the year for me to redeem had come”. In the days of our adversity, God will never leave nor forsake us. (Deuteronomy 31:6; Hebrews 13:5). God will give us the strength and ability to fight our battles, God Himself will fight our battles for us, then God will arise and our enemies will be scattered. We must have a relationship with God, through Jesus Christ. Those yet to surrender their lives to Jesus, do so now, tomorrow might be too late. DO IT NOW and stay connected to Jesus Christ. May the Lord bless us from Zion and keep His Face shinning upon us to prosper us all the days of our lives, in Jesus’ name. Have a blessed day. Shalom!!!
