📖: Ephesians 1:19-23

“And his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength”.

The resurrection is more than just an event that happened in the history of the universe. The resurrection power is the ultimate and mighty power from heaven that raised Jesus Christ from the dead (1 Corinthians 6:14) to eternal life and gave Him the power and authority to be at the right hand of the Father.

The resurrection power establishes that Jesus Christ is exactly who He says He is; “the Son of God” and has God’s approval on earth. “Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die” (John 11:25).

The resurrection power prophecy was mentioned in Isaiah 25:8 saying He will swallow up death forever and wipe away tears from all our faces and will remove us from disgrace. After the death of Jesus Christ, on the third dar rose from the dead, giving Him the power over death. The resurrection power cancel our past sins (1 Peter 1:3; John 19:30). Many people do not understand the mystery and power of the resurrection; according to the Bible in Philippians 3:10, Apostle Paul prayed for this power; “I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death”.

As Christians, the resurrection of Jesus Christ is the bedrock of Christianity and our Christian faith (1 Corinthians 15:17). The most important aspect of our Christian life is knowing Jesus and experiencing the awesomeness of the resurrection power. In the resurrection power lies our justification (Romans 4:25), The power of resurrection cancels our PAST sins, mistakes, errors, and failures. Romans 8:1 says there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ. The resurrection power has great and mighty functions; it makes dead things come alive; through Jesus’ death we are free from the power of sins, it repositions us far above all principalities and powers, its the gift of the Holy Spirit that dwells in us (1 Corinthians 4:7).

This year, let us open our hearts to receive God’s mighty power which is the resurrection power and ask for His understanding in overcoming obstacles, trials, sickness, and poverty in our lives. For those yet to surrender their lives to Jesus, do so now, tomorrow might be too late. DO IT NOW and stay connected to Jesus Christ, the resurrection and the life that makes dead things come alive. Have a blessed day. Shalom!!!
