GOD WILL REMEMBER YOU TODAY

📖: Hebrews 6:9-12; Genesis 8:1-3

Confession: Psalm 106:4

God is Omniscient, He remembers everything and knows everything. He forgets nothing. God is merciful and will never leave nor forsake us. He remembers His mercy (Psalm 98:3). To remember is to bring to mind or keep in mind some place or person in memory.

When we are fainting away and in despair, we ask ourselves where is our God? Have we ever been in a situation and felt forgotten by God especially when situation or issues occurs and cannot understand why? When we remember from where we have fallen and repent and do deeds, and praise the Lord (Psalm 103:1-3), God will remember us. We don’t need to worry in trying to understand why, but cry to God like Jonah (Jonah 2:7) and God will remember and help us because His compassions are new every morning (Lamentations 3:21-24).

The Bible tells us of people that God remembered and blessed; Noah was saved and the waters receded (Genesis 8:1), Hezekiah cried to the Lord to remember him and God added fifteen years to his life (2 Kings 20:2-6), Rachel was barren and God opened her womb (Genesis 30:22). After 430 years in their years of suffering, God remembered His covenant with Abraham for the people of Israel (Exodus 2:24-25), God remembered Hannah (1 Samuel 1:19). The man at the pool of Bethesda, for 38 years waited before he was made whole (John 5:4-9). God remembered Solomon blessed him with wisdom and gave him more than what he asked for (2 Chronicles 1:7-12). Jesus healed Blind Berthemus removed him from darkness to light (Mark 46-52).

Isaiah 49:15-16 says a mother cannot forget the baby at her breast, how much more our Creator, our God who has the records of all of us, what we are going through and He remembers our situations or what we have lost in time past. Today, God will remember us for good and every dry areas of our lives will be restored through His Word. God will send His Word to us today and whatever needs to die in our lives will die and whatever needs to change will change for a new beginning to manifest in our lives and destiny. God will not just remember us, He will visit us today (John 5:2-9). For God to remember and show us His mercy and favour, we must strive to have a relationship with God through Jesus. For those yet to surrender their lives to Jesus, this is NOT negotiable, do so now, tomorrow might be too late. DO IT NOW and stay connected to Jesus Christ who alone has the power and authority to change the impossibilities in our lives. Have a blessed day. Shalom!!!
