📖: Psalm 23:1-6; Matthew 6:9-11

Confession: Psalm 91

The Bible is very clear on God’s promises for mankind. For every trial or situation we encounter in life, there is always an answer in the Word of God to help us overcome and be conquerors. “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting showdows” (James 1:17). J

Jeremiah 29:11 says “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”. To wake up each day, is not by our power or strength, it is only by the grace of God. John 1:16 says “Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given”. It is very important to start our day in the presence of God, to fellowship and commit all our undertakings and endeavors into His hands as it is written in Proverbs 16:3 “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans”.
We approach the presence of God with true praise, worship, and with thanksgiving because “In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly” (Psalm 5:3). When we don’t know what to pray about,  Matthew 6:9-19, “The Lord’s Prayer and Psalm 23:1-6, “The Lord is my Shepherd” are perfect scriptures to use when praying to God. We must learn to pray His Word back to Him to receive His promises of mercy, grace, protection, direction, and guidance for each day of our lives. Matthew 6:11 says “Give us today our daily bread”.

May he give us the desire of our heart and make all our plans succeed (Psalm 20:4). When we commit our day to God, through the Holy Spirit, let us believe, trust, have faith, and be patient in whatever we asked of the Lord and He will grant us our request as it is written in Jeremiah 17:7-8 “But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. [8] They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit”. The prerequisite of obtaining the promises of God is only through Jesus Christ. His promises are not guaranteed to unbelievers. Those yet to surrender their lives to Jesus, do so now, tomorrow might be too late. DO IT NOW and stay connected to the promises of God through Jesus Christ. Have a blessed day. Shalom!!!

🙏 Oh Lord, guide my words and let them bear fruits, in Jesus’ name.

🙏 The Lord shall anoint me with the oil of gladness above my fellows this day, in the name of Jesus.

🙏 Oh Lord, give me divine alertness to recognise divine opportunities.

🙏 I receive open heavens for my life this day, in the name of Jesus.
