Memory Verse: John 3:16

The Bible tells us that our God is Omnipotent Creator of the universe. In Genesis 1:27 says that “God created man in his own image.” The love of God is the foundation of life. We are God’s workmanship and He loves us. And as it is written in John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son….” What is God’s love? God’s love is steadfast and unchanging. Though we may grow distant from Him or fickle in our attitude toward Him, He continues to love us. God’s love is sacrificial. This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins” (1 John 4:9-10). Ephesians 3:19 says that “God’s love for us surpasses all knowledge.” And in James 1:17 says “He is unchanging.” How great is the love the Father has and lavishing on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! Our God loves us and His love is the only love that never falters and never fails. God is the greatest love and He dwells inside us. God’s love is unconditional and has demonstrated His love for us while we were still sinners as it is written in to Romans 5:8. He choose to love us, even when we did not deserve or earn His love to be called children of God. God’s love is shown through Jesus Christ. Whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. God’s love is wonderful, amazing, unstoppable and unconditional. He loves us whatever state our life is in. GOD LOVES YOU JUST AS YOU ARE.

We throw the word “love” around pretty freely. We use it casually to talk about everyday things we like a lot. Most human love is conditional, and it is based on response of the receiver. We love our friends and tend not to love others who do not show love towards us. Love is an intense feeling of deep affection. It is a variety of different feelings and attitudes that ranges from interpersonal affection. Unbelievers can love others to some degree, but not in the way that God’s indwelling presence enables Christians to love (1 John 4:8–11). The Biblical meaning of love as it is written in 1 Corinthians 13:4-5 says “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. We know that Love conquers everything, and no power is greater than love. To sum it up “GOD IS LOVE.” And this means that God continually gives of Himself to others and seeks their benefit. It’s hard to get our minds around, but it is true. This is where the faith journey starts. GOD’S Love IS SACRIFICIAL. Therefore, cling to God’s love because He cares about us.

“Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”David was a man who loved God from the bottom of his heart to the depth of his soul. He was zealous for God and was a man after God’s heart. David experienced God’s love and knew he did not deserve, nor merited the love that God bestowed upon him. He never took God’s love for granted, and his character is worth emulating in the way we think about God’s love for us. God’s love for us is not just a little greater than His wrath; it is massively greater and eternally unchanging. We must remember that as believers, we cannot be separated from God’s love. His love is within us, and we have obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand and rejoice in hope of the glory of God (Romans 5:2-5). When we’re faced with any circumstances, feel unloved, unimportant, or insecure, we must never doubt God’s love for us because He will never leave us nor forsake us (John 1:5). We must allow the Holy Spirit to control us. Read and meditate God’s Word. The Bible can help to strengthen our faith in God’s love. His Word will free us, heal us, transform us, and lead us to the abundant life He wants for us. His love helps us grow and improve. There is no force more powerful than the love our heavenly Father has for us, His children. For those yet to surrender their lives to Jesus, this is not negotiable, do so now, tomorrow might be too late. DO IT NOW! STAY SAFE! STAY HEALTHY! STAY FIRM! STAY STRONG! STAY IN FAITH! STAY ALERT! STAY FOCUSED! STAY POSITIVE! STAY CONNECTED! STAY BLESSED!
