Memory Verse: Psalm 119:105

The Bible tells us that our God’s Spirit was present in the Creation. And Colossians 1:16, affirmed that Jesus Christ, God’s Son was at work in the Creation. Knowing that we are created in God’s image and thus share many of His characteristics provides a solid basis for self-worth. We have all been fearfully and wonderfully made, known and loved by God. Also, know that the human body is not just a human body. It is an extraordinary work of art by the God of all creation. It’s a unique work of art, and understand that human worth is not based on possessions, achievements, physical attractiveness, or public acclaim. Instead, it is based on being made in God’s image. Because we bear God’s image, we can feel positive about ourselves. Criticizing or downgrading ourselves is criticizing what God has made and the abilities He has given us. Knowing that you are a person of worth helps you love God, know Him personally, and make a valuable contribution to those around you. As human beings, our body is a unique design of multiple systems that all work intricately together. Each one of us are created and designed with a purpose. And the blueprints of me are similar to other human beings but they’re not exactly the same. God made us to be distinguished, special, and unique. What can we learn from Psalm 139:14? What is the fearfully and wonderfully meaning? What does this reveal about God and us, His creation? God is an ever-present presence in our lives.

God Created us with love on purpose. To be Fearfully created, indicates that creating life is a reverent, holy process. We have the innate ability to discern right from wrong. Although, that ability is hindered somewhat until we connect with our Creator. He didn’t just design us to do our own thing. He created us so we would desire an ongoing relationship with Him. Whether we feel it or not, we can always trust God and His plans for our lives. Ephesians 2:10 says “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Let us take a look at what it means for us to be fearfully and wonderfully made. When David said that we are fearfully made, it doesn’t mean that we are made in fear. David is in complete awe of our amazing God. The Hebrew word “Yare” when used, in terms of praising God, means to fear, and stand in awe. This implies that we are fearfully made and thus, our Creator deserves honor, respect, and reverence. On the other hand, wonderfully comes from the Hebrew word palah. It means to distinguish, separate and marvel and make wonderfully. Wonderfully made means that we are made with great wonders. Even our weaknesses are fearfully and wonderfully made.

We all have weaknesses that sometimes make us feel like we are of no use. But God’s grace is sufficient to cover our weaknesses. More than that, God’s power is made perfect in our weaknesses. Weaknesses keep us humble and leaning on God’s strength which is much more sufficient than our own strength. Therefore, we must stop looking at everyone else and look to God. Isaiah 64:8 affirms that “We are the clay, and you are the potter. We all are formed by your hand.” The very thought of our existence should make us realize how wonderful life is and how awe-When we do finally realize that without God we are unable to make the most of ourselves, that’s when things begin to change. The clay cannot mold itself no matter how hard it tries. However, God, the Potter, cannot only mold His clay but He also knows what His original design of you was. He is both a Potter and an Architect with a Master Plan. For those yet to surrender their lives to Jesus, do so now, tomorrow might be too late. DO IT NOW. STAY HEALTHY! STAY SAFE! STAY FOCUSED! STAY CONNECTED! STAY IN FAITH! STAY POSITIVE! STAY STRONG! STAY ALERT! STAY BLESSED!
