Who is worthy of our praise and worship, God our Creator, His love for us is unconditional and He supplies all our needs (Philippians 4:19). As it is written in 1 Chronicles 16:31 says “Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; And let them say among the nations, “The Lord reigns.” Dictionary meaning: To worship is to prostrate oneself before any one out of honour. But what is true worship and what does the Bible say about it? In simple terms, to worship is paying homage by showing reverence and gratitude to God by bowing down before God (Hebrews 12:28). Also to worship God is to praise, glorify and honor Him for creating, caring, blessing and loving mankind eternally.  Our worship share the love and reverence for our Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, our Saviour. In the Old Testament, Abraham the father of many nations knew the essence and power of worship (Genesis 22:5) and in the New Testament, after Jesus was born the Magi (three wise men; kings), they travelled to worship Jesus, knew the power of worship. (Matthew 2:11).

Jeremiah 10:10 says “Lord is the true God; he is the living God, the eternal King. When he is angry, the earth trembles; the nations cannot endure his wrath”. God is great, He is above all gods because all other gods are the works of men, God is the True God. We must know the essence of worship and worshiping God is a daily obedience (Exodus 23:25-26). God is a Spirit and we must worship Him in Spirit and Truth (John 4:24). We offer our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God (Romans 12:1). Psalm 150:6 says “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord”. He is worthy to receive glory and honour and power for He created all things. Jesus said we are to worship in Spirit and truth, and these Bible verses will help us access the power of the Holy Spirit and the truth of Scripture in order to experience true worship. “The worship most acceptable to God comes from a thankful and cheerful heart”. – Plutarch

Worship is how we express our love, adoration, admiration, and wonder at God’s presence and it is part of our Christian faith. It consists of gratitude, thankfulness, humility, prayer, warfare, and rememberance of God. Also, Worshipping is a powerful device that’s able to dismantle every shackle and its able to breakdown every wall of Jericho in our lives. To worship God, is to let go of our self-worship and allow our worship to come from a humble and submissive heart (Romans 12:1), surrendering every part of our lives to God’s control. As believers, when we worship God with praises, songs, prayers, and in our giving, the Holy Spirit takes control of our inner spirit, and encourages us to enjoy His presence over our lives. When we give God true worship, He answers us swiftly. As it is written in 1 Chronicles 16:34, let us strive and “Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever”. For those yet to surrender their lives to Jesus, do so now, tomorrow might be too late. DO IT NOW! STAY HEALTHY! STAY SAFE! STAY CONNECTED! STAY FIRM! STAY STRONG; STAY IN FAITH! STAY POSITIVE! STAY BLESSED!

PRAYER

🙏Father, I thank You for the grace to be alive and to sing Your praises to You today, in Jesus’ name.
🙏O Lord, I worship You for all Your goodness, mercy and compassion shown towards me, in the name of Jesus.
🙏I will sing unto the Lord the joyful song, and give Him all the glory, I will praise His name because the Lord is good.
🙏I magnify the Lord with my whole life and my soul shall sing of His name always, in Jesus’ name.
🙏Father, I worship You for saving my soul from the path of destruction, in the name of Jesus.
🙏Father, I praise You because, You are Bigger Than The Biggest, Stronger thann the strongest and Better than the best in Jesus name.
🙏The anointing of praising God shall never run dry in my mouth, in the name of Jesus.
🙏Father Lord, I worship You for all the blessings, and because You will be my guide to the end, in Jesus’ name.
🙏I cover and seal all my prayers and answered prayers with the Covenant Precious Blood of Jesus.
🙏Thank You Lord, for answered prayers.
